But for certain settings, none of these devices are satisfactory. That applies to our Zenith 601HDS, N314LB, which is a low-wing airplane with center control stick and a panel already filled with instruments. The iPad simply cannot be mounted anywhere. There is a way out: The iPad is attached to the pilot's left leg using some contraption. This method has three drawbacks.
